Firefly approaches landscaping from a place of curiosity and reverence for the natural world. As such, all of our fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides are OMRI-approved and organic whenever possible. We try to avoid plantings that are heavily invasive or have the potential to choke out other plants and discuss your needs around pet- and kid-safe landscapes. We may make recommendations for different approaches that may take longer but ultimately better support the health of your soil and plants in the long run. We take things like nearby waterways into consideration when making certain recommendations, and provide education to our clients about what we’re doing and why. We also love helping clients establish things like compost bins, leaf rings, water catchment systems and more!
